Discover Cascade Locks bouldering at a “clean & climb” event on Saturday, June 28 from 9:30AM to 2PM.
From V0 to V6, you’ll get to check out sectors at Cascade Locks, while pitching in on some boulder and trail maintenance before the sends.
With our friends at Northwest Trail Alliance, Portland Area Climbers Coalition is asking for your help to:
- lob and prune and other minor trail work,
- Scrub moss off accessible boulders,
- Climb the newly-cleaned boulders, and check out other blocks that Cascade Locks has to offer!
Tools for trail work and scrubbing are provided. (Any extra crash pads are welcome.) Poison oak is present but will be avoided, long pants are highly encouraged.
Approach to boulders from .25mi to 1mi.
No prior experience necessary. All participants required to sign waiver at event (anyone <18 years old will need parent / guardian present to sign).
