We’re excited for a fresh new shirt design for PACC – you may have seen us at recent events strutting around in them:

Oh right, that’s just the front of the shirt. Here is the awesome design on the back – nuts, cams, carabiners, rope and good ol’ basalt rock:

We hope to offer these shirts for purchase soon both online and at our in-person events! In the meantime, as a volunteer-run non-profit, we’re always grateful for our community’s help – so we wanted to highlight the artist behind them.
Kett McKenna brings a diverse background as a lifelong artist, accomplished mountaineer, and 2015 Pacific Crest Trail thru-hiker to his work. Having established a successful career in 3D animation and concept art for video games including Halo Infinite and Borderlands 4, he has now chosen to pursue new creative paths in blacksmithing and woodworking.
Kett shared, “The design I created draws inspiration from local landscapes, featuring basalt cliffs—the prevalent rock formation around Portland—and the iconic Douglas fir, Oregon’s official state tree.”
